Another week has come and gone! Here's some things that happened..
-We had interviews with President Hitchcock! Oh how grateful I am for him!!
-We also had lots of exchanges. We went on exchanges with the YSA sisters and I went with a sister from Bountiful. Her name is Sister Burrell and she is awesome! I learned so much from her!
-We also went on exchanges with the Dalhousie sisters and I went with Sister Gatten. We just cant get away from each other. It was good to be together again. We saw lots of miracles!
-We also had Sister Wilson from the St James ward come to church with us on Sunday so that was kind of fun to be in a tripan again!
We had supper with Howard, his wife and daughter and the elders at a chinese restaurant and got to eat with chopsticks!! I cant remember if I have talked about howard. He is a guy that we found a few months ago and the elders started teaching him. He is super cool!!
-We also went out the eat with some awesome members, Brother and Sister Demarchi. They are the best!! More chinese food. And we ate a crab.. I will send pics!!
This week in my studies I noticed a theme of faith. I learned a lot about how obedience is an act of faith and repentance is also an act of faith. I was reading in Alma 32 and I love verse 28. "Now we will compare the word unto a seed. Now, if ye give place, that a seed may be planted in your heart, behold, if it be a true seed, or a good seed, if ye do not cast it out by your unbelief, that ye will resist the spirit of the Lord, behold, it will begin to SWELL within your breasts; and when you feel these swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves-- it must needs be that this is a good seed, or that the word is good, for it beginneth to ENLARGE my soul; yea, it beginneth to ENLIGHTEN my understanding, yea it beginneth to be DELICIOUS to me."
If we have planted a good SEED of faith it will Swell, Enlarge, Enlighten, and be Delicious. One of the sisters pointed this out to me and I just loved it and wanted to share:) Have an awesome week!
